Fertility Pelvic Scan

The fertility treatment experience involves a fair few scans. We’re here to help, at Cocoon you’ll be part of a supportive environment and looked after by an experienced team who can give you valuable information about the inner-workings of your body.

We offer a fertility pelvic scan to give you and your clinic (UK or abroad) important baseline information about your ovaries, uterus and pelvic anatomy.

After checking in on how you’re doing and any specific requirements you have for your scan, one of our experienced sonographers will scan you to take a good look at:

  • Both ovaries and visible follicles (including measurement)

  • Uterus

  • Womb-lining (endometrium)

  • Left and right pelvic areas (adnexa)

This kind of fertility scan is best performed internally (trans-vaginally) for the most reliable results, as opposed to abdominally. Your sonographer will discuss this with you ahead of the scan to ensure you feel informed and comfortable throughout. 

Following your scan we’ll follow-up with a written report and digital images, shared to the email address provided.
