Presentation Scan

As your bump grows and your due date approaches, it’s important to know the practicalities of what position your baby is taking. We offer presentation scans from 35 weeks onwards where one of our experienced sonographers will be able to give you the most up-to-date information on your baby’s position.

Your experienced sonographer will check how you’re feeling and answer any questions you might have before scanning your bump. During the scan we’ll aim to:

  • Check on the wellbeing of your baby, including visualising their heartbeat and checking their abdomen, brain, position and growth

  • Measure your baby’s head, abdominal size and length of their femur to check they are growing at the correct rate and within the expected percentile for their gestation

  • Estimate baby’s fetal weight

  • Confirm baby’s position and placenta, so you know where baby is positioned in preparation for delivery

Following your scan, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions. Our sonographer will also provide you with:

  • A printed photograph to take home 

  • A link to download a digital report of your scan and images
